The Original American-made Wooden Toy Trains - since 1936. In the 1980's, T. C. Timber was
purchased by the German toy company Habermaass. A few years ago, Habermaass stopped production of the classic TC Timber Trains. Turnertoys
bought all remaining inventory in 2007. In November, 2009, our inventory is
almost gone. These are the last of the original TC Timber Wooden Train Sets (except perhaps as collectors' items on Ebay). THESE ARE CLOSE-OUTS. REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. We are sorry to see these classic toys fade into history. However, we have found replacements that are every bit as good quality, and are also MADE IN USA. Visit our new Wooden Toy Train department, featuring Maple Landmark & Whittle Shortline. Compatibility: All our ML, Whittle, & TCT wooden trains and track are inter-compatible. All out train cars fit Brio and Thomas track, and Brio/Thomas cars fit our track. Track pieces may require some adaptation to fit other systems. |
