All Guidecraft items with painted finishes are now being tested in a formal program that Turnertoys believes to be thorough, reliable, and sufficient to ensure product safety and absence of lead and other toxic substances. The Guidecraft comprehensive batch testing program requires two separate tests on each batch of each product: Paint is lab tested for each purchase order, verified by sample testing of finished toys when they arrive in the U.S. to confirm that the paint certified was actually used on the delivered product.
