Mountainboy Sledworks creates this work of art from carefully selected, highly figured curly maple. Several coats of marine-grade varnish, black-stained handcarved willow rails, stainless steel and copper hardware, and fine craftsmanship are combined in this sled. You will run it hard on the slopes and never get tired of looking at it. It only gets prettier. Each sled is signed and numbered. Under the beautiful woodwork lies the Elegant Flyer's secret weapon: an innovative molded plastic bottom, that floats on top of powder, tracks well in packed snow, and glides almost without friction. The entire fron end of the sled pivots for carving radical turns never before possible in a classic sled.
