 I had one of these Chevy Bel Air Convertibles when I was in College - not nearly as nice as the one above. The front fenders around the headlights were about 50% Bondo, and the top was starting to come apart. It was lots of fun while I had it, but I finally junked it. Couldn't afford all the body work. It had a simple V-8 engine that just ran and ran, indestructible. I wish I had restored it. Ed Loewenton |
